For our first-time guests, we recommend the “Guided Tour.”  With this option, you have a trained tour guide with you the entire day to teach about the animals and help the children to touch and handle the animals safely.  They will coordinate your visit with lunch times and get you to all the areas the children typically enjoy most, even if you only have 90 minutes to spend on the farm.  They won’t let you miss something important.

The second way to enjoy the farm is a “Self-Guided Tour.”   This option allows you, as the teacher, to adapt lesson plans and take control of your field trip.  There will always be someone in the Dairy Barn, the Little Critter Area, and Ponies to help with animals; however, the rest of the farm you will experience on your own time at your own pace.
