Exciting news about our logo. The designer, Thoroughbred Design Group, entered our logo in a National Design Competition last fall. Hi there everyone! Welcome to 2012! Hope everyone enjoyed their holiday season and is ready for 2012. We are busy planning updates and changes to the farm for the 2012 season already. We are kinda waiting for the snow to arrive so that we can go sledding on our hills. Is anyone else bummed about the lack of snow this year? Although the animals are loving the warm weather! Good luck to everyone in 2012.

Our last group of school kids had a blast on the farm today! Thank you to all of our employees for a great season of teaching kids and having fun, we couldn’t do it with out you! Thanks to all the teachers and guests for visiting us this year. We truely enjoy what we do. Also a thanks to the animals for another great season, now you can have the winter off! Check back throughout the winter for updates on NEW items for next spring and fall. Now its time to bundle up the farm for winter.

Pumpkins, Squash and Apple Cannons!

Well, we are halfway through October. If you don’t have your pumpkins yet think about stopping out to see us. We still have many to choose from and have reduced all of our pumpkins to $3. We have LOTS of squash left as well, butternut and acorn squash. While you are out try our NEW apple shooter. Shot apples from our apple cannon to hit targets in the field.

Opening Weekend!

Well, the weather could have been a bit nicer for our opening weekend. But, regardless of the weather we had a few families join us Saturday and Sunday for Pony rides, Hay rides and Mining for Gemstones. Opening weekend is over and we are ready for a week of school kids and excited for next weekend, the opening weekend of the Dark Side Haunt!

Pumpkins! Pumpkins! Pumpkins!

Pumpkin picking all day Saturday. A long and tiring day but fun none the less. Just another step in getting ready for our Fall 2011 Season to begin. We start with school groups this week and are offically open next Saturday, September 24th for lots of animal, hayride and pumpkin fun for everyone. Come buy one of our pumpkins we worked so hard to pick! We have thousands!

Haven’t visited us for a while? Come visit this fall and see the NEW and IMPROVED duck and goose pen. They have a new ‘mill house’ with ponds and a bath tub for the ducks to swim in. They like thier new home and we do too!

New Goats

We have aquired 3 new goats in the last week. TJ, LuLu and Queen Bee. They are brother and sisters. Super cute and friendly. They were born this spring on a farm near Jefferson. We are excited to have them. Come visit them this fall!
